Senior Analyst, Investment Collateral & Liquidity

Job Description

- Processes the routine day-to-day duties associated with the group's task list
- Daily collateral management including trade valuation, interaction with external trade counterparties, and settlement of activities
- Collateral Reporting
- Collateral Vendor Management
- Reconciliations with dealers and accounting system
- Interest payment processing on all external and internal positions posted as collateral
- Internal reporting on Investment collateral
- Regulatory Reporting (incl. Dodd-Frank) Compliance Management
- ISDA, MRA, GMRA, MSFTA and FCM legal document management
- Ability to automate processes given data sets with minimal guidance
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Accounting, Math, Science, Engineering or equivalent working experience AND 5+ years of derivative related work experience OR
- Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Accounting, Math, or Science with 3+ years of derivative related work experience
- Basic knowledge of derivative processing. Basic knowledge of ISDA documentation
- Reinsurance or insurance industry knowledge
- Banking or Brokerage industry knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to deal with complex issues and solve problems both within teams and independently
- Clear interest in deepening knowledge of investment related collateral automations and processes
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to be flexible when needed, take initiative, and demonstrate accountability
- Ability to set goals, multitask and prioritize workload. Ability to balance detail with departmental goals/ objectives
- Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department projects
- Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions
- Ability to work independently
- Word and Excel abilities
- Programming skills in SQL and/or Python or equivalent language
- Understanding of Relational Databases
- System Knowledge of collateral management tools

A Brief Overview
Serves as the senior analyst for the Investment Collateral & Liquidity. This entails independently managing the daily processing tasks including calculation and communication of daily collateral calls, monitoring settlements, providing timely reporting of collateral outcomes and creating new processes as necessary for a growing book. The senior analyst is expected to propose solutions and work with senior leadership of the group to drive change including the management of their own projects.

What you can expect from RGA:
Compensation Range:
$87,050.00 - $131,450.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
