What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research, financial modeling, and analysis of complex healthcare claims data to identify actionable insights
- Develop key strategic reports and analytics using SQL programming and Business Intelligence tools
- Analyze and recommend cost-saving opportunities in alignment with enterprise strategies
- Support the Provider Network contracting process through financial modeling and analysis
- Present analytical results and findings to senior management and key stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or Actuarial Sciences or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of analytics experience in financial analysis, healthcare pricing, network management, or related discipline
- 5+ years of increasingly complex database and data management responsibilities
- Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in SQL
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in a relevant field
- Experience in healthcare medical economics and strong financial analytics background
- Ability to identify and investigate complex medical cost issues
- Experience with industry-standard normalization/reimbursement methodologies (APR-DRG, MS-DRG, EAPG, APC)
