What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement techniques and analytics to transform raw data into meaningful information
- Design and implement innovative analytical solutions in collaboration with product and engineering teams
- Apply data mining, advanced feature engineering techniques, and natural language processing to analyze large datasets
- Evaluate new features and architecture for innovative data solutions
- Build comprehensive analytics views of predictive drivers to forecast growth and perform opportunity sizing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the position offered, Data Scientist, Intern, or related occupation
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and big data technologies
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, forecasting, and predictive analytics
- Familiarity with A/B testing, deep learning using TensorFlow and PyTorch, and statistical modeling using Statsmodels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with cloud services such as Google or Microsoft
- Skills in optimization algorithms using the SciPy python package
- Knowledge of data manipulation using Pandas and numerical computations with NumPy
- Proficiency in web scraping using Beautiful Soup
- Experience with association calculations using FP growth and Prefix Span
