Job Title: Senior Analyst Royalties & Commissions
Business Unit: Surgical
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Payments
o Responsible for commissions of US agents and sales leadership
o Ensure revenue accuracy for commissions purposes
o Calculate commissions in accordance with commission plans and agreements
o Process commissions on time: issue statements and submit for payment
o Prepare and communicate commissions on time
o Responsible for commissions planning and forecasting of commissions
o Ensure timeliness and high accuracy of commission payments
o Own and maintain master data records in company's incentive compensation system
Business partnership
o Provide prompt, accurate and thorough feedback to field sales representatives and sales leaders
o Act as a liaison between Sales and Sales Ops
Data Insight and Analysis
o Leverage information technology to enhance data analysis on commission plans to forecast future commissions based on sales behavior
o Provide monthly performance insight and analysis at the plan and region level
o Assists in designing and modeling commission and sales incentive plans. Partners with sales management to provide cost impact solutions and/or opportunities related to commission/incentive designs.
Continuous Improvement
o Lead monthly commissions audit process
o Design a standard sustainable process
o Analyze error root causes and implement solutions to improve accuracy
o Drive standardization of commission plans
o Document
Minimum Essential Requirements:
o Bachelor's Degree and 5-8 years of experience as a financial analyst, sales analyst, sales operations support or commission analyst role.
o Attention to details
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills and conflict resolution
o Ability to effectively communicate with individuals across functions and at all organizational levels, including business unit management
o Strong organizational skills: prioritize and organize information and requests
o Analytical, modeling, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience in medical industry commission
o Demonstrated ability to map and redesign process
Travel: Minimal travel, 10% or less expected.
