What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of complex security compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Identify and mitigate project bottlenecks through advanced problem-solving skills
- Conduct comprehensive HIPAA Security Rule assessments and develop actionable remediation strategies
- Govern remediation workflows to ensure timely closure of security gaps in alignment with product releases
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on HIPAA and other security compliance frameworks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in Security Compliance, Audit, or Risk Management, with a focus on HIPAA compliance
- 2+ years of experience working with technical security and Engineering/IT to implement control solutions
- 2+ years of project management experience in security or a technical field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to translate technical requirements into business language
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong prioritization skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with cloud security techniques, particularly in AWS and GCP
- Familiarity with securing code deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, GIAC, or CISSP
