Our work depends on a Senior Appian Developer joining our team to design and develop mission-critical software delivery pipelines that are essential to the support of our high-profile government clients. The Senior Appian Developer will serve as an integral component of these software pipelines throughout their life cycle, offering the opportunity to see the meaningful impact of their work as it unfolds, all while collaborating and growing their career with a team of like-minded individuals.

      HOW A SENIOR APPIAN DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

      • Design and develop fully automated software delivery pipelines
      • Efficiently collaborate within and across agile teams to maximize productivity
      • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and similarly engage in all agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives
      • Eliminate roadblocks and hindrances preventing teams from delivering software
      • Assist the team in documenting and leveraging cloud and DevOps best practices during acceptance testing cycles; performs testing with thoroughness and great attention to detail
      • Collaborate with team members on all project-related testing, help to develop team UI QA standards, and communicate effectively across the organization to adhere to stringent timelines
      • Ensure that QA processes and procedures for test environments are followed and that the integrity of the various environments is not compromised
      • Review and provide feedback on test scripts
      • Coordinate testing with additional team members as needed
      • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into Appian designs
      • Develop custom Appian solutions using Appian BPM software
      • Integrate Appian applications with other systems and databases
      • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot Appian applications
      • Create and maintain technical documentation for Appian applications
      • Stay updated on the latest Appian features and functionalities to enhance the performance of applications


      WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
      Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field

      Required Experience: 5+ years of Appian development experience, preferably within BPM

      Required Technical Skills:

      • Appian Level 1 or 2 Certified
      • Experience in Agile, Java, API's, Web Services, integrations
      • Proficient with Appian BPM and complex SQL database structures
      • Experience with integrations with external systems
      • Ability to scope Appian Projects

      **Must have resided in the US for 3+ years**

      The likely salary range for this position is $127,172 - $172,056. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
