      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as a Principal Investigator/Project Director for various archaeological projects
      - Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
      - Conduct intensive cultural resources inventory and document archaeological sites
      - Evaluate resources for National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility
      - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Completed coursework leading to a degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field
      - Minimum of 2 years of college-level coursework and completion of a field school for Crew Member position
      - Bachelor’s degree, completion of a field school, and 3 years of professional experience for Crew Chief position
      - Graduate degree, completion of a field school, and 3 years of experience as a Field Director for Principal Investigator position
      - Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Proficiency in using tablets (Apple iPad or Samsung Galaxy) for documentation
      - Experience with sub-meter GPS receivers and ArcGIS Field Maps
      - Permitted or permittable on BLM lands in the Western United States
      - Previous training in NHPA, NEPA, CEQA, FERC, or other cultural/environmental regulations
      - Strong writing and editing skills, including experience authoring a master's thesis
