Join the Commodities and Global Markets Trading team as a data engineer professional in the crude oil division. This role revolves around identifying, planning, and implementing data solutions for enterprise data using data modelling techniques by leveraging technology and data analytics.

In this role you will ideally have experience and skills in the following areas:

• Python engineer with a focus on data related solutions, i.e., data integration and data pipelines (via Spark/Flink/Apache Beam etc.).
• Experience with AWS ecosystem and have built solutions on AWS, alongside other modern software delivery process & tools, i.e., CI/CD pipelines, containers & kubernetes, git repositories, software defined change configuration etc.
• Experience with HTML, data scraping and DevOps.
• Proficient in manipulating data and drawing insights from large data sets using SQL, and Power BI.
• Highly proficient in data preparation and integration, able to design, develop and modify data models and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Experienced with working on Agile delivery.
• Working knowledge of Linux.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, MIS, Computer Science; or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience building data solutions for advanced analytics.
• At least 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SQL.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality and control frameworks
