      UTA seeks a Senior Associate or Manager for our Strategy and Corporate Development Group. UTA is a leading talent, entertainment and sports agency based in Beverly Hills, CA. The Senior Associate/Manager will work closely with the Strategy and Corporate Development leadership, and other executives and agents on high-priority growth initiatives and M&A deals. This role will be located in our Los Angeles office.

      The base salary range for this role is $140,000-$170,000 commensurate with experience and skills.

      What You Will Do

      • Work on corporate strategic planning efforts (across film and TV, music, digital, sports, marketing services, and other), including helping in research, analysis, brainstorming, workshop facilitation and program management
      • Drive transformational initiatives within specific business units (e.g., performance step-up, new business incubation)
      • Work on M&A transactions, including helping on due diligence, financial modeling, structuring, documentation and process management
      • Support UTA agents and their clients on select business development opportunities (e.g., raising capital for talent-led company)
      • Prepare Board presentations, as well as other materials for UTA management and stakeholders (e.g., private equity investors)

      What You Will Need

      • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience at leading management consulting firm, investment bank, or traditional or digital media & entertainment company in strategy & corporate development role
      • Outstanding strategic thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
      • Strong knowledge of finance, valuation, accounting, and financial modeling (Excel)
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to develop compelling presentations (PowerPoint)
      • Proactive attitude, strong process management skills and results-orientation
      • Team player, desire to work in a collaborative environment
      • Passion and knowledge about the business side of traditional & digital media, music, sports, and related sectors
