      Job description

      Job responsibilities

      • Create individual rehabilitation plans for each patient whilst maintaining a flexible approach and responsive attitude to patient need.
      • To assess, fit verify and validate hearing aid prescriptions for patients using real ear and coupler measurements.
      • To ensure equipment is adequately maintained and calibrated in accordance with BSA standards.
      • To support patients and caregivers with management of hearing loss and hearing aids.
      • Provide training both in-house and to external groups when required.
      • Establish a good rapport and work with patients of all ages, including gaining their co-operation in clinics and self-management at home.

      • RCCP and/or HCPC registration
      • MSc in Audiology with competency certificate
      • Demonstrable post graduate clinical experience in balance assessment and general audiology
