      This role is offered on a site-based contract with a hybrid working pattern, which can be discussed with the recruitment team during the hiring process.

      As a member of the Internal Audit department, you will share our passion about adding value to our people, customers, communities, and stakeholders, providing robust independent assurance and challenge on the effectiveness of processes and controls across the bank and having exposure to senior stakeholders across our global organisation.

      As a Senior Auditor, you will be joining a diverse and growing team that provides tangible commercial impact across our entire business. You'll be leading audits to assess the control environment and regulatory adherence related to Finance and Market businesses.

      The difference you’ll make.

      • Participating in assurance activities to assess the management and control of risk, ensuring that all work undertaken meets agreed timescales and complies with quality requirements.
      • Taking part in different aspects of the audit from planning, identification of key risks and testing during fieldwork stage.
      • Managing relationships with key stakeholders across the business and collaborating with other teams as required.

      What you’ll bring.

      • Previous experience working in Audit, Finance, Capital, Liquidity, Markets or Structural Risk function.
      • Proficient Microsoft Excel knowledge and exposure to the use of Data Analytics / programming.

      It would also be nice for you to have.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Familiar with the financial services industry, products and services, and regulatory framework in which the business operates.
      • ACA / ACCA / FRM qualifications also desirable. Other similar qualifications will be considered, as for example educated to degree level in a Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar subject.

      What else you need to know.

      This is a permanent position which is based in the Milton Keynes office.

      We promote hybrid working with the expectation of attending the office an average of 2 days a week however we are flexible on days worked in the office.
