      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct clinical quality assurance reviews of daily clinical validation audits
      - Communicate effectively with initial auditors to resolve differing audit decisions
      - Apply healthcare auditing principles and objectivity during medical audit activities
      - Review medical records to determine medical necessity and identify potential billing/coding issues
      - Serve as a mentor to other QA auditors or initial auditors as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with an active/unrestricted license
      - Minimum of 5 years of experience in claims auditing, quality assurance, or recovery auditing
      - Coding Certification required (RHIA, RHIT, or inpatient coding certification within one year of hire)
      - 3-5 years of healthcare auditing or related experience
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Inpatient Coding Credential such as CCS or CIC
      - Experience in a Clinical Validation Audit setting or hospital environment
      - Ability to work independently and within a team
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
