What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and implement reliable, secure, and highly available services for the orchestration system
- Refactor legacy systems in collaboration with the staff+ engineering group
- Work with complex systems using programming languages and technologies such as Python, Rust, Go, and AWS
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams, product management, UX designers, and customer support
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices and architectural decisions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a software engineer
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, computer engineering, etc.)
- Extensive experience designing micro-services and APIs (REST and/or gRPC)
- Strong knowledge of observability and debugging production issues at scale
- Ability to balance speed of delivery with reliability and security in service design

- Experience working asynchronously in a fully remote, distributed team
- Background in data analytics and transformation
