      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead the full budget lifecycle, from development and validation to execution and ongoing monitoring
      - Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the agency's budget in alignment with agency priorities
      - Deliver advanced fiscal analysis to inform strategic planning and assess financial trends
      - Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for decision-makers
      - Safeguard the agency's fiscal health and support responsible decision-making

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Six years of progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, analysis, and administration
      - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field may substitute for three years of experience
      - Graduate-level degree in the above areas may substitute for four of the six years of required experience
      - Advanced analytical and fiscal modeling skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
      - Exceptional documentation and organizational skills to maintain accurate records of budget decisions

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced Excel expertise, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization
      - Collaborative and customer-service-oriented approach in fiscal support
      - Experience with state budget or comparable financial systems
      - Ability to effectively communicate financial information in formal settings
