      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead the agency’s budget and fiscal processes, ensuring compliance and alignment with agency priorities
      - Deliver advanced fiscal analysis to inform strategic planning and assess financial trends
      - Safeguard the agency’s fiscal health and support responsible decision-making
      - Maintain accurate and organized records of all budget decisions and changes
      - Present complex budget information effectively to leadership and external partners

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Six years of progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, analysis, and administration
      - Bachelor's degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field may substitute for three years of experience
      - Graduate-level degree in relevant areas may substitute for four of the six years of experience
      - Advanced analytical and fiscal modeling skills with the ability to interpret complex data
      - Mastery of Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with state budget, accounting, or enterprise financial systems such as ORBITS or R*STARS/SFMA
      - Ability to communicate financial information effectively in formal settings
      - Collaborative and customer-service-oriented approach to teamwork
      - Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
