What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer and maintain the budget and management reporting software for the employer
- Collaborate with various departments to design solutions for technical problems
- Assist in the coordination of the hospital's annual budget process and manage budget input
- Provide financial and statistical analysis to support decision-making and report generation
- Maintain expert-level skills in data manipulation and reporting, particularly in Microsoft Excel
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Hospital Administration, or related field
- Four (4) years of experience in data analysis, financial statement preparation, financial systems administration, and/or healthcare planning
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with management, staff, and external customers
- Extensive knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work well under high-stress conditions and manage project timelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Two (2) years of professional experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience in performance improvement activities and initiatives
- Strong organizational and time management skills
