What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the point of contact for application vendors regarding new interoperability and functionalities to support clinical research
- Organize and lead stakeholders through complex projects, assessing and implementing new system initiatives
- Oversee gathering of data requirements for clinical trial reporting and related data visualization tools
- Provide application troubleshooting for data integrity and functionality within research applications and electronic medical records
- Create and maintain training manuals and procedures in compliance with industry and federal guidance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in health science or equivalent combination of education and experience in clinical trials management systems or clinical research operations
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in a clinical research environment with expertise in clinical trial workflows
- Knowledge of clinical trials data requirements, regulatory affairs, and protocol development
- Experience with clinical trials management systems and electronic health records
- Exceptional oral and written communication and facilitation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant content knowledge of business intelligence tools and report formatting applications (Excel, Tableau, SSRS)
- Information technology work experience
- Experience developing workflow and user documentation
- Extensive interaction experience within clinical trials/clinical research environments
