ENVISION YOUR FUTURE JOB
We are looking for a Senior Buyer EMEA RX Lenses that will support the deployment of the RX lenses sourcing strategy in EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa) zone.
He/she will be working closely to the EMEA Category Manager – RX Lenses to assist on developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, in line with the Global Category strategy for Third Party Lenses procured to support EL globally.
Main responsibilities will be related to suppliers/spend data analysis, supplier base rationalization initiatives, RfQs/negotiations and support to insourcing projects, in collaboration with all relevant EL commercial and operational business units and functions.
Other key levers will be centered on Stakeholder & Supplier Relationship Management.
AREAS OF RESPONSIILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
• Manage supplier qualification process, RFP/RFQ processes, supplier selection, negotiation, contract development and implementation
• Assist EMEA Category Manager to capture all EL business needs, challenges and business development roadmaps in order to identify and secure the right lenses and services at the most favorable terms
• Identifies Third Party Lens spend not yet addressed by central Sourcing, taking action to support the Make vs. Buy decision process, utilizing internal and external benchmarks as applicable
• Develop business relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers in line with the category strategy to achieve short, mid and long term objectives
• Identifies, communicates and takes action on opportunities arising from the manager, his/her own data analysis, and/or supplier & stakeholder collaboration
• Supports EMEA and Global Category Managers with executing comprehensive category strategies to achieve stated goals (P&L savings, cash generation, supply risk mitigation, preferred suppliers, etc) within budget and on-timePORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
• Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering
• 3-4 years of Sourcing and/or Procurement experience required with demonstrated increases in responsibilities
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to address and resolve sensitive/emotional business topics
• Proven ability to function at a high level within a matrix organization while creating and maintaining stakeholder and supplier relationships
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think strategically and independently
• Expertise in MS Office tools, in particular Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
• Fundamental understanding of financial statements (Income, Balance, Cash Flow) and how sourcing strategies impact each
• Excellent presentation skills (both in creating and delivering the message) and follow up execution• A self-motivator with a strong sense of urgency who utilizes proven strategic sourcing processes and tools to drive tangible results contributing to the group strategy
• Skillfully organized and able to handle detailed work in a fast paced, multi-project, multi-cultural environment
• Unyielding customer service (internal stakeholder management) and collaborator mentality
