What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure the Chargemaster (CDM) is compliant with coding and billing regulations
- Act as a liaison between the hospital ministry and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department
- Provide training to hospital staff on CDM maintenance and charge capture improvement
- Research and resolve inquiries regarding Chargemaster issues in a timely manner
- Support the skill development of other CDM Specialists
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including knowledge of coding principles
- 3 years of experience in operational performance improvement or project management
- 5 years of experience with Hospital EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably Epic EAP
- 3 years of experience with CDM Maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
