What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure Chargemaster (CDM) compliance with coding and billing regulations
- Act as a liaison between the hospital ministry and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department
- Train hospital staff on CDM maintenance processes, coding updates, and charge capture improvement
- Coordinate daily CDM maintenance workflow and monitor alignment with standard CDM
- Document policies and procedures related to CDM maintenance and charge processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including inpatient and outpatient billing
- 3 years of operational performance improvement and/or project management experience
- 5 years of experience working with hospital EMR related to Chargemaster
- 3 years of experience with CDM maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
