      You will be supporting the design and/or implementing safety guidelines and instructions (for occupational safety, fire prevention, radiation safety, dangerous goods and emergency management), for an assigned organization.

      How to contribute to our vision...

      We are looking for a chemical engineer with a general interest in environment and occupational health, and knowledge on chemical exposure and chemical management on a specialist level.

      Your tasks:

      Large amounts of chemical products are used in blade production. As a chemical engineer You will collaborate closely with the technology departments and other HSE-colleagues on our blade plants about implementation and safe handling of chemical products in production.

      Develop and maintain our chemical management system

      Ensure compliance with REACH

      Complete HSE-evaluations of chemical products

      Be a chemical expert and support-function for our blade plants worldwide

      Be a chemical sparring partner for our technology departments in relation to developing and implementing new processes and chemical products.

      Plan and complete relevant HSE-training of the organization.

      Participate in necessary standards and procedures.

      Primary workplace will be Aalborg, but regular visits on our other blade plants worldwide.

      What you need to make a difference…

      Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for candidates with a relevant education in Environmental, chemistry, industrial hygiene or similar experience.

      We are looking for candidates with a relevant education in environment, or chemistry or similar experience. We expect you have +5 years of experience working with chemicals in the work environment. Experience with collaboration with external HSE organizations will be seen as an advantage.

      A deep understanding of environmental rules and regulations is a requirement as you will be the point of contact with the authorities. Experience with project management is preferred and a genuine interest in educating on and improving work environment, will be expected for this position.

      Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is a benefit but not necessary for the position.

      We are looking for a highly structural person with a team player mindset that can hold their ground while thinking solutions oriented. Strong communication skills and excellent English skills (both orally and in writing) is a necessity in dealing with the different stakeholders.

      As you will be point of contact for the Danish authorities’ and having to keep up with local rules and regulations, command of Danish is also a necessary to fulfill this position.
