What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a caseload of low to moderate complexity property and casualty insurance claims
- Perform coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments
- Negotiate settlements, mitigate losses, and control expenses
- Provide exceptional customer service to insureds, claimants, and attorneys
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and industry best practices in claims handling

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of one year of property and casualty claims handling experience
- Ability to obtain the required state adjusters' licenses within six months
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Adjuster license and/or certifications preferred
- Minimum of three years of property and casualty claims handling experience for more senior roles
- Experience working with complex coverage issues and multi-jurisdictional claims
- Advanced Degree or Juris Doctorate Degree preferred for specialized positions
- Ability to train and provide guidance to less experienced claims professionals
