What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a caseload of low to moderate complexity P&C insurance claims, ensuring thorough analysis of coverage, facts, and liability
- Conduct investigations and draft necessary documentation related to claims, including disclaimers and reservation of rights letters
- Negotiate settlements and mitigate losses while adhering to company guidelines and state regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to insureds, claimants, and attorneys, offering updates and addressing inquiries
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist in the training of new Claims Associates as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of one year of P&C claims handling experience, including liability and coverage issues
- Ability to obtain required state adjusters' licenses within six months of completing company-provided training
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Adjuster license and/or relevant certifications
- Experience with multi-jurisdictional claims and complex coverage issues
- Minimum of three years of P&C claims handling experience for senior positions or seven years for specialist roles
- Advanced Degree or Juris Doctorate Degree for specialist roles
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with business partners
