What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a high volume of daily inbound communications, addressing inquiries related to underwriting guidelines and loan statuses
- Coordinate and conduct seller pipeline calls tailored to individual client needs
- Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external Correspondent Lenders
- Review collateral and compliance documentation while evaluating loan decisions and conditions
- Provide organized and timely escalations to leadership as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year degree from an accredited university in business, accounting, finance, or banking, or equivalent experience in Correspondent Lending Operations
- Minimum of two years of underwriting, processing, or Delegated Correspondent experience
- Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines and mortgage banking
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with departments and vendors
- Ability to navigate and interpret investor guidelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a call center or similar role
- Familiarity with Encompass and related software (TPO Connect)
- Understanding of Document Imaging
- Ability to escalate loans as needed
