  THE OPPORTUNITY:

  Our CNC Machinists are responsible for the setup and operation of our state-of-the-art CNC machinery, as well as the quality of the industry-leading tools we produce. we produce. We are currently hiring for all shifts; offering 3 and 4-day work weeks. Our newly built facility is in Gorham, ME, less than a twenty-minute drive to Portland, ME. The Gorham area offers easy access to great outdoor activities, safe communities, and quality schooling in both K through 12 and Colleges.

  IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Create/edit/maintain CNC tool and cutter grinding programs.
  • Perform first piece and in-process inspection of product.
  • Assist coworkers in keeping equipment running efficiently.
  • Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  YOU'LL BRING:

  • A desire to succeed in a fast-paced, growing company.
  • Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a CNC Tool Cutter.
  • Proficient with Walter Tool Studio, Rollomatic Machines, and Windows Mode programming.
  • Walter Helicheck programming training preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow Engineering documentation including but not limited to:
    • Geometry specification sheets
    • Product Drawings
    • Job routers
    • Process sheets
    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Regular standing and frequent walking.
  • Occasional reaching overhead and lifting up to 50 pounds.
