What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and execute all communications and collateral materials for the Office of Outdoor Recreation
- Write and edit a variety of publications including articles, press releases, and social media content
- Create presentations and design printed or graphic materials using various software programs
- Collaborate with cross-bureau teams to enhance outdoor recreation narratives in consumer-facing media
- Support marketing and public relations efforts to amplify outdoor recreation in Wisconsin
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in preparing and presenting data and analytics reports
- Proven ability to develop email marketing campaigns and collateral materials
- Knowledge of public relations, editing, and AP Style
- Experience in social media content creation and website content management
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with marketing and promotions related to event development
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including webinars
- Background in the outdoor recreation industry with research interpretation skills
- Established partnerships with businesses or state agencies
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally in a fast-paced environment
