Job summary
We have an opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our established community therapy team covering the Macclesfield Community.
The role will involve providing comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment of adults within our rehabilitation beds and in the community setting.
You will be part of a wider and supportive integrated team consisting of GPs, district nurses, ACPs, Social workers, Physiotherapists and Therapy assistants. All team members are ready and willing to help each other on a daily basis. You will gain valuable insights that will help you to develop in your career and connect your current role to the community.

Main duties of the job
To act as a clinical specialist providing a high standard of comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment service to patients with diverse health needs across the MacclesfieldCommunity area.
This care will be delivered in patients home and within our community bed based settings. The successful candidate will be working as an autonomous clinician, using accurate analytical skills and clinical reasoning to interpret assessment findings, making diagnoses where appropriate, identifying patient problems, setting goals, and providing an appropriate treatment plan and progression.
To demonstrate sound communication via liaison and referral to other agencies as required embracing care community team philosophies.
