What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and assess new and pending legal and regulatory requirements impacting the company
- Collaborate with departments to implement compliance efforts and document them using the risk management tool
- Gather and report on operational metrics and key risk indicators
- Coordinate Board materials and due diligence responses, including updates to Form 10-Q and Form 10-K
- Assist in the development and maintenance of company policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
- Paralegal experience or background in interpreting laws and regulations
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the insurance and securities industries
- Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
