What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the R&E Manager in preparing client presentations and developing project work plans
- Perform interviews with client engineering and technical personnel, and draft detailed project reports
- Gather, format, and analyze large volumes of accounting cost data to create complex calculation databases
- Analyze expenses for qualification under Section 174 and Section 41, and prepare R&E credit calculations
- Collaborate with Federal Income Tax colleagues on various tax matters and respond to client requests
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of experience in R&E tax credit
- Proficient in Microsoft® Excel with a working knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Valid driver's license required for independent travel (up to 20%)
