What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support project development and strategic planning, including market, technology, and policy assessments
- Lead and contribute to project economic and cost analyses, risk assessments, and contracting strategies
- Provide client program and project management support, improving governance and business processes
- Develop conceptual plans in coordination with technical teams and present strategies to clients
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of junior team members and review their work products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, business, public policy, or a related field
- Five to ten years of experience in the energy/power industry, including at least three years in consulting or advisory roles
- Prior management consulting or advisory experience with direct client interaction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in quantitative models and financial analysis
- Proven ability to produce clear, well-structured deliverables and communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in technical due diligence and owner’s engineering design reviews of power projects
- Understanding of power station operations and performance, including key operational and financial drivers
- Familiarity with electric utility business models, planning processes, and operations
- Experience with economic evaluation, cost analysis, and contract development (e.g., PPAs, EPC contracts)
