      What you’ll do

      It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

      • This position is responsible for interpreting and assessing business issues and recommending solutions to support the Consumer Insights function. This role oversees project management and implementation of specialized Consumer Insights programs for all TJX Canada banners ( WINNERS, Marshalls and HomeSense , Dual/Tri, S TYLE + and Find Your Stride) to achieve department and corporate objectives
      • Uncovers consumer insights through various research techniques and brings learnings to life through storytelling
      • Turns consumer data & insights into digestible and actionable reports that drive customer centric decision making and planning
      • Supports the implementation of custom research projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders to define research objectives, and manages external research agencies ensuring objectives and timelines are met
      • Supports the Consumer Insights Manager in designing questionnaires, reporting insights, and interpreting the resulting information
      • Actively contributes to brainstorming sessions to generate new and enhanced insights aligning with best practices

      What you’ll need

      To begin your career with us, we require the following:

      • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a consumer research position at a client or research company
      • College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business , Market Research, Marketing, or Social Sciences ( i.e. Sociology, or Psychology)
      • Experience in Brand research including brand health, creative pre-testing, and advertising tracking
      • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research, questionnaire design, sample planning, analytics, and visualization
      • Strong interpersonal skills including developing and building relationships with internal team members and external agency partners
      • Demonstrated communication skills; ability to communicate and interpret information accurately; and relaying difficult or technical information in a digestible way for the audience
      • Strong project management skills including structured research project methodology ( i.e. determining needs, researching existing programs, etc.); utilizing multiple sources of information to develop well-structured business recommendations; preparing and maintaining detailed development and optimization plans for projects; overseeing execution of projects in partnership with stakeholders

      Salary Range: $73,190 - $102,410
