- Supporting management of governmental / regulatory investigations and internal investigations globally that could raise legal or reputational risk for GE Vernova and/or its businesses
- Working on matters that may require appearance in front of enforcement agencies
- Ability to co-manage complex investigations across different legal risk areas
- Driving measurable efficiencies in investigative matter management, including with regard to budgets for external counsel and forensic/discovery-related needs
- Helping to spot (i) emerging issues and trends, (ii) define process improvements and (iii) help with training initiatives
- J.D. or equivalent law degree from a recognized international institution
- 3-5 years governmental investigative experience in the public sector or equivalent white-collar defense work experience in the private sector
- Strong investigative experience in a common law and/or civil law jurisdiction and exposure to working in diverse, complex markets
- Demonstrated ability to support the management of complex investigations carrying governmental enforcement risk
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory and compliance laws
- Investigative experience in one or more of the following areas:
- US Foreign Corruption Practices Act (FCPA) and other anti-corruption laws in the United States and internationally
- Trade controls/sanctioned country law
- Anti-trust law
- Anti-money laundering law
- Intellectual property theft / economic espionage / computer crimes
- Complex frauds
- Demonstrated ability to analyze facts and data and draw reasonable conclusions, communicate clearly, possess excellent writing skills and as a strong team player be able to work effectively with others at various levels of the organization
- As the position requires working across various functions within GE Vernova (e.g., Legal & Compliance, Security, HR, Finance), demonstrated networking skills
- Flexible and collaborative team player who is passionate about GE Vernova’s mission
- High level of cultural sensitivity, flexibility and emotional intelligence in order to work effectively within GE Vernova’s multicultural environment
- Ability to work independently in an evolving, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects while maintaining a high quality of work
- Experience in and understanding of the energy / power generation sector and products
- 2nd language skill (Mandarin, Arabic, French, or Spanish) preferred

Role Summary/Purpose
The Senior Counsel, Global Investigations will be part of a team leading government, regulatory and significant internal investigations for GE Vernova. The role will be part of the new GE Vernova Global Law & Policy Headquarters team and work with functional and business colleagues. This role will report to the Chief Counsel, Global Investigations for GE Vernova.
Essential Responsibilities
If contracted in the United States:
The salary range for this position is 164,600.00 - 274,300.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 15% variable incentive bonus.
