      The Senior Credentialing Specialist with Strategic Solutions Management Consultants (SSMC) assists management in coordinating workflow and day to day functions across the credentialing team. They will act as a resource to colleagues and clients to assist with questions, problem solving, and resolving more complex issues. The Senior Credentialing Specialist will provide credentialing services and support directly for clients, as well as support the Director in reviewing reports, following up with staff, and addressing issues as they arise.

      QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Minimum two (2) years’ credentialing experience required; multi-specialties preferred.
      • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
      • Experience with Medent preferred.
      • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and is required.
      • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners to positively affect outcomes at the team, organization and client level.
      • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate workflow.
      • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.
      • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.
      • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
