What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform highly complex benefit coding, new client and group installation, and set up of network structures and pricing methods
- Analyze and verify client, group, rate, commissions, product, and benefit data
- Design and apply coding and configuration principles to ensure proper coding outcomes and scalability
- Research and analyze claims processing problems, and document the results of problem analysis
- Develop project deliverables, including business requirements and testing plans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- 5 - 7 years of experience in the healthcare industry or related field
- 5 - 7 years of experience in business analysis, system analysis, or related functions
- Excellent detail-oriented skills and advanced customer service skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Science, or a related field
- 5 - 7 years of experience in health insurance operations or benefits operations
- Experience with client, product, and/or benefits configuration techniques
