Primary Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve customer service inquiries and issues through phone, email, and chat
- Educate customers about consumer-driven health care and guide them on benefit plan options, maximizing health plan benefits, and choosing quality care providers
- Contact care providers on behalf of customers to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal specialists
- Assist customers in navigating Employer websites and encourage self-sufficiency in using these tools
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of combined education, work, and/or volunteer experience
- Experience in customer service interactions through call, email, and messaging
Preferred Qualifications:
- Call Center Experience
- Customer Service experience
- Experience with chat and email correspondence
- Health Care/Insurance environment familiarity
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Must have a dedicated work area that provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Additional Information:
- California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, or Rhode Island Residents Only: The salary range for residents of these states is $16.00 - $31.44. Pay is based on factors such as education, work experience, certifications, etc.
