What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and research incoming healthcare claim calls from providers, verifying necessary data for processing
- Actively listen and document required information while addressing specific questions or issues
- Communicate with providers to resolve issues using clear, simple language
- Meet performance goals related to efficiency, accuracy, quality, and attendance
- Assist members by answering incoming calls and identifying the type of assistance needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 6+ months of work-at-home experience
- 6+ months of Customer Service Representative experience or 1+ years in a medical/standard office setting, call center, or phone support role
- Working knowledge of computer and Windows PC applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Call center experience
- Health care experience
- Knowledge of billing/finance and eligibility processes, practices, and concepts
