What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and process inbound calls from patients, providers, and medical staff, while executing outbound calls as needed
- Serve as a resource or Subject Matter Expert for team members and handle escalated calls to resolve complex customer issues
- Assist customers with appointment scheduling, prescription refills, and navigating online resources
- Demonstrate outstanding service by identifying and resolving callers' issues in a timely and professional manner
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience or experience in a healthcare-related setting
- Proficiency in navigating Windows-based computer systems and translating complex healthcare jargon into simple instructions
- Ability to work during normal business hours, with occasional overtime as needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Training in a medical office or customer service-related field
- Knowledge of insurance products and medical terminology
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
