What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to complex customer inquiries regarding products and prepare quotes for repairs
- Influence gross profit through negotiating sale and purchase prices
- Monitor service requests and assign technicians to appropriate jobs
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and customer interactions
- Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced Customer Service Representatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- At least five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination
- Strong product knowledge in mechanical and/or industrial parts preferred
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in customer service within the industrial parts industry
- Proven negotiation skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Reliability and strong attention to detail
- A clean driving record preferred
