      About the job

      The Critical Accounts Team is looking for passionate Customer Success Architects to join them remotely in EMEA or India, to help deliver, innovate, and scale our Phased Gates offering. Phased Gates program is a proactive and preemptive service used by Technical customer-facing account members to evaluate customer storage (CEPH/ODF) deployments in both presales and post-sales environments. Phased Gates provides a comprehensive review of how customers' environments comply with Red Hat's supportability guidelines, common practices, and optimization standards as well as components and features utilisation.

      What you will do

      • Use your repertoire of technical skills to create, maintain, and constantly enhance the framework for reviewing Red Hat OpenShift clusters with OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) and/or CEPH storage
      • Work with Technical Support, Engineering, and Quality Engineering as well as our
      • Documentation teams to identify supported design, and recommended best practices in deploying and running ODF/CEPH storage environment.
      • Along with the Development team, contribute to creating, maintaining, and enhancing scripted Rules stored in GitLab, to perform reviews of customer environments against the supportability review framework.
      • Support the technical members of an account team to deliver Phased Gates supportability reviews, or deliver them yourself directly.
      • Collaborate closely with the Phased Gates Manager who supports the non-technical process of the Phased Gates engagements
      • Bringing learnings coming from field Phased Gates engagements into the internal continuous improvement process, named Closed Loop. Lead the delivery of closed-loop improvement opportunities where needed. Participate in and drive technical retrospective meetings.
      • Build on your expertise by going through intensive onboarding and Red Hat Learning resources.
      • Consult on the customer support tickets and escalations along with Red Hat Technical
      • Support engineers and Developers for resolution as well as working on improvement opportunities for product and documentation maintained under Red Hat Knowledge Centered Service.
      • Contribute to Red Hat Community on internal projects and/or Open Source Community projects as per interest, expertise, and bandwidth.
      • Continually looking for ways to drive down support cases and escalations as well as improving the overall customer experience

      What you will bring

      • Consistent professional experience with configuring and troubleshooting on-premises and cloud storage solutions
      • Experience with CEPH and ODF is a strong plus along with RHEL and RH Openshift Certifications, such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ceph Cloud Storage, Enterprise Kubernetes Storage with Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (DO370), Operating a Production Kubernetes Cluster (DO280), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Containers & Kubernetes (DO180) are a strong plus
      • Solid knowledge of OpenShift, and/or Kubernetes with all of its components such as logging, monitoring, networking, storage, Service Mesh, etc
      • Expert in automating tasks with scripting and working with GitLab, JIRA, and Salesforce system is a plus
      • Solid professional Linux system administration experience
      • Excellent communication skills.
      • Passion for evaluating, investigating, and troubleshooting complex customer environments
      • Thirst for knowledge, ability to further grow and enhance your technical/interpersonal skills with the ability to work with conflicting priorities, take initiative, and maintain a customer-centric focus
      • Team player with a can-do attitude, open-minded, and collaborative approach
      • Strong relationship-building skills, ability to work with varying departments to drive successful outcomes for Red Hat customers
      • Ability to drive and manage projects and initiatives autonomously
