What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical support to customers through various communication methods, including telephone, email, and video conferencing
- Resolve complex and routine technical issues related to hardware, software, assays, and training
- Mentor and assist peers with routine troubleshooting tasks
- Distinguish between hardware, reagent, and software issues to ensure effective problem resolution
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate, vocational, or equivalent degree in biology, clinical lab science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or chemistry
- Minimum of 3 years of lab or field experience
- Strong ability to articulate and provide clear directions over the phone or via email
- Experience troubleshooting electromechanical instrumentation
- Previous experience in a medical technology call center or medical laboratory setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Additional troubleshooting experience on complex instrumentation
- Familiarity with medical laboratory processes and technologies
