      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and implement advanced data and statistical analytics using healthcare claims data
      - Collaborate with project teams to translate policy questions into analytic plans
      - Create research-ready datasets by importing and integrating large, complex datasets
      - Execute descriptive and inferential statistical analyses
      - Write detailed data analytic plans and maintain programming documentation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience in analytics, health services research, or a related field, or a Master’s Degree plus 3 years of relevant experience
      - Proficiency in statistical programming, particularly with SAS
      - Ability to manipulate large datasets and perform statistical analyses
      - Strong critical thinking and strategic planning skills
      - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with health care utilization and cost analyses
      - Familiarity with national data sources such as ACS, HCUP, or MEPS
      - Background in health services research related to health care quality or disparities
      - Knowledge of healthcare coding systems like ICD-9/10 or CPT
      - Experience with geographical coding programs for health mapping
