Lead the design and development of scalable, reusable data solutions and reporting frameworks.
Engage with senior stakeholders to understand complex business needs and translate them into actionable data strategies.
Bring clarity to evolving requirements and help shape the roadmap for data initiatives.
Adhere to predefined development and documentation standards to ensure consistency and maintainability.
Coach and mentor junior developers and peers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and the adoption of emerging technologies.
Ensure data quality and governance by embedding robust validation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.
Contribute to architectural decisions and promote best practices across the full development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in data development, analytics solution design, or related fields.
Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence technical direction.
Proficiency in MS SQL, Power BI, and experience with data modeling and performance tuning.
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar modern data platforms (is considered an asset )
Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud) (is considered an asset )
Experience using Microsoft Copilot and/or LLM agents for data development (is considered an asset )
Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Git, and VS Code (is considered an asset )
Experience mentoring or leading technical teams (is considered an asset )
