What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Refactor the optimization algorithm written in Python using Object-Oriented Programming
- Utilize data science applications to address business challenges in the supply chain and optimization space
- Develop and implement predictive models to enhance inventory management and resource allocation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to replenishment and provide recommendations for improvement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience of 10+ years as a Data Scientist with a focus on supply chain optimization
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field
- Experience with mathematical programming solvers such as Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR Tools
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Pyspark, and SQL
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with business stakeholders

- Solid understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling concepts
- Ability to apply various analytical models to real-world business use cases
