What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft SQL Server environments for optimal performance and security
- Develop and maintain complex ETL processes using SSIS for data integration and migration
- Deploy and maintain cloud-native database solutions in AWS, including Amazon RDS and Aurora
- Optimize SQL queries for performance across large-scale datasets and mission-critical applications
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure database solutions meet business needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA specializing in Microsoft SQL Server in large-scale environments
- Deep expertise in Azure DevOps for database deployment automation and CI/CD
- Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud-native database services, including RDS and Aurora
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell and/or T-SQL
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar certifications
- AWS Certified Database – Specialty or Solutions Architect certifications
- Experience in data governance, auditing, and compliance within regulated environments
- Familiarity with NoSQL technologies and hybrid data architectures
- Previous Federal Consulting Experience
