What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise PL/SQL software components, including DDL and DML
- Perform Oracle database performance analysis and ongoing maintenance/tuning for optimal performance
- Manage database rollouts in Development and QA environments, and prepare for UAT and Production
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and DBAs to design and validate architectural solutions
- Mentor team members in software engineering methods and techniques
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, and 4+ years of relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications with RDBMS and PL/SQL
- Demonstrable experience in SQL tuning, writing cursors, triggers, and complex queries
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong internal customer service skills and ability to work effectively within a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Database Administration and Data Architecture experience
- Knowledge of .NET Web application development
