What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the design, implementation, interpretation, and review of inventory management plans
- Provide mentorship and guidance to new hires and less experienced planners
- Review and optimize Interactive Response Technology (IRT) strategy
- Establish connections between demand planning team and S&OP process
- Assist in training and onboarding new employees
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business/operations management preferred
- 5-7 years of supply chain and planning experience
- Strong business acumen and PC knowledge with Microsoft Office products
- Interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills required
- APICS certification or equivalent preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 4+ years of experience with an advanced degree
- Understanding of clinical supply requirements and study designs
- Experience with global supply chain design and logistics management
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
- Experience using Thermo Fisher tools for demand planning
