      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

      - Manage the development of a portfolio of renewable energy projects, including budgeting, project timing, risk assessment, and legal balance
      - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project development, including resource assessment, contract execution, legal compliance, and financing
      - Lead communications and negotiations with external stakeholders, such as contractors, landowners, permit agencies, and utilities
      - Oversee local, state, and federal environmental permitting processes and secure necessary approvals
      - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with project partners and leverage industry events to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities

      What is Required (Qualifications):

      - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline
      - Minimum of 10 years of directly related experience in project management of energy-related projects
      - Experience overseeing large-scale utility energy development projects
      - Strong negotiation, legal, and contract management skills
      - Ability to work and communicate effectively with senior management, peers, and third parties
      - Preferably, experience in utility development in California and Nevada

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

      - MBA or related Master's degree
      - Experience leading a small team
      - Demonstrated success in project financing
      - Large-scale utility development experience in California and Nevada
