      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead economic analyses that inform revenue forecasts, policy choices, and long-term financial strategy
      - Translate complex financial and economic trends into actionable insights for decision-makers
      - Evaluate fiscal and economic scenarios and provide recommendations
      - Design and manage analytical projects that shape the City's financial direction
      - Prepare fiscal impact analyses of legislative actions and assist in budget procedures

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Public Administration, Statistics, or related field from an accredited institution
      - Five or more years of professional experience in financial analysis, or a Master's degree may substitute for experience
      - Strong empirical and analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel, Python, or R
      - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
      - Must pass a criminal background check prior to hire

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in public sector or nonprofit organizations
      - Proven skills in communicating technical issues clearly to diverse audiences
      - Familiarity with enterprise financial systems and public budget processes
      - Knowledge of compliance standards related to grants, laws, and regulations
      - Ability to develop and maintain economic or financial forecasting models
