What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the full lifecycle of Rail/Transit Infrastructure projects from concept to closeout
- Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and procurement documents
- Conduct inspections of electrical equipment and installations, writing reports and design studies
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to coordinate electrical work
- Review supplier drawing submittals and respond to field requests for information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering required
- 8-12+ years of heavy industrial/facilities electrical design experience
- PE (Professional Engineer) Certification required
- Experience in electrical engineering design for transportation projects is highly desired
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction specifications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working for utility companies or in industrial buildings related to electrical design
- Familiarity with construction-related processes and ability to perform in a lead capacity
