What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the full lifecycle of Rail/Transit Infrastructure projects, from concept and planning to construction and closeout
- Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and procurement documents
- Conduct site inspections and perform acceptance testing on electrical installations
- Coordinate electrical work with other engineering disciplines and departments
- Review supplier drawing submittals and respond to field requests for information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8-12 years of heavy industrial/facilities electrical design experience
- PE (Professional Engineer) Certification
- Experience in electrical engineering design for transportation projects is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working for utility companies or in industrial buildings
- Familiarity with construction-related processes in the area of assignment
- Potential to perform in a lead capacity on projects
